The Burtek Group announces the Acquisition of Process Fab, Inc.
CHESTERFIELD, Mich., Dec. 10, 2014 — The Burtek Group (“Burtek”) has acquired Process Fab, Inc. (“PFI”) based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The combination of Votaw Precision Technologies, Inc. (“Votaw”) and PFI under the Burtek portfolio, brings together two of the best spaceflight and aerospace suppliers in the industry and creates a broader and deeper platform to better serve customers across the defense, spaceflight and aerospace industries.
“With our combined capabilities of design and engineering tools utilizing multiple CAD systems and model based definition, as well as small to large machining, fabrication, assembly and system integration, we have significantly strengthened our turn-key service offerings,” said Jeff Daniel, CEO of Burtek.
The Burtek Group will continue to operate out of its Michigan and California facilities under Burtek Holdings, Inc.
The acquisition was completed on December 4th, 2014. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Salem Partners LLC acted as the exclusive financial advisor to PFI. O’Melveny & Myers LLP acted as legal counsel to PFI.
